Before you request

Records Office answers.

Release rules depend on the record and the information it contains. Contact the Records Clerk when you are unsure what to request.

When will my report be ready?

Reports must be reviewed and approved by a patrol supervisor before release. They are typically available in 5–7 business days.

How can I pay?

The Records Office currently accepts cash payments for records requests.

Are juvenile details included?

Juvenile information is redacted from released reports, regardless of who requests or receives the report.

How do I obtain supplements?

Supplemental incident reports must be requested through an attorney using the applicable court subpoena process.

Can every record be released?

Sealed, sensitive, expunged, private medical, active-investigation, or safety-sensitive information may not be released.
